Electronic Claims – sending your dental claims to the DBP over the internet provides a simple cost effective alternative to conventional EDI. Orthotrac is there to help you through the journey if you’re currently paper based or already using another EDI system.

NHS EDI Claims:

•             Generated through the use of procedure codes used in surgery. Alternatively the information can be entered directly onto the electronic version of the claim form by clicking in the relevant boxes.

•             Patient demographics automatically entered when form opened.

•             Orthodontist PDS information automatically entered when form opened.

•             Referral date, assessment date automatically entered.

•             Error messages if required information is missing e.g. IOTN.

•             Form can be set to Pending or EDI ready.

•             UOA report

•             UOA Projections

•             PDS Claim reports

GP17 for Scotland can be produced using a inbuilt questionnaire in Orthotrac which will print of the green GP17 forms as well as tally up the cost of treatment and apply this to the patient financials. It is a financial tracking system for claims and prints the front and back of the GP17 form.

For Southern Ireland a Med 2 form can be generated showing the payments made by the patient over the calendar year which can then be printed directly onto the Med 2 form.
